4.8.5 Remuneration

 

1. The mayor’s remuneration is determined annually by the Remuneration Authority, including allowances and expenses [1]. The mayor’s office liaises with the Remuneration Authority in relation to this determination, while Democracy Services does so on behalf of other elected members.

2. Democracy Services and the mayor’s office should coordinate this approach to ensure consistency.
